What Is Active Cover?

Active cover is not a standard life/TPD/trauma bundle — it's a severity-based policy structure, which is genuinely different from the traditional model.

Zurich Active covers 170 health events — more than any other trauma insurance in Australia — and pays claims according to severity, rather than an all-or-nothing lump sum. You can make multiple claims for progressive conditions and/or new health events while remaining protected under one policy — for the most serious conditions, including terminal illness and death, it still pays the full sum insured.

The Claim Protector feature keeps 25% of the total cover reserved for future health events until age 65, at no extra cost.

This benefit can help cover medical expenses, ongoing living costs, mortgage repayments, or other financial obligations while you focus on recovery.
